Electric double unit locomotive IORE of the LKAB

Electric double locomotive Bjørnfjell 127 and Krokvik 128 of the Luossavaara Kiirunavaara Aktiebolag. This Swedish ore line locomotive descends from the "Octeon" locomotive family and reminds us somewhat of the series 145/182 of the DB AG. A double locomotive can pull trains that weigh 8,600 t. They have a power output of 2 x 5,400 kW and with 2 x 700 kN pull power they are amongst the strongest electric locomotives in the world. The first double locomotive was put into service in 2,000.
