This miniature model depicts three hot blast stoves, which play a central role in the ironworks: They ensure that glowing hot air flows through the hot blast ring pipes into the blast furnace and that the iron oxide can be turned into molten pig iron. The model is precisely modelled on the Meiderich blast furnace and adds another fascinating technical detail.
