Description

This detailed blower hall with its pipework brings an industrial atmosphere to the model railway - perfectly matched to the blast furnace model. The so-called blast furnace wind - the hot air that was essential for the smelting process in the blast furnace - was generated here with huge fans. The air flowed through an intricate network of wind pipes to the hot blast stoves, where it was heated to high temperatures. Can be ideally combined with the pipework set (Art. 180327) to depict the industrial character even more authentically.
