Over the course of decades Märklin has brought many small gems to the tracks and among them is surely the TWE 700 from 1936. This decorative powered rail car was focused at that time on the look of the "Flying Trains" that connected the larger cities starting in 1933 at peak speeds of 160 km/h / 100 mph. Now this little gem is rolling again into the Märklin program. In the stylistically correct retro look but equipped with contemporary technology, it brings back the very special atmosphere of that era to model railroading.
