Prototype: Two German Federal Railroad (DB) type Laae 540 car pairs (double unit) as they looked in era IV.

Model: The set includes two pairs of cars. Each pair of cars forms a permanently coupled prototypical double unit. The crossover plates are implied. The platforms are made of plastic, and the cars are designed for automobile models from the Märklin range. Total length approx. 186 mm / 7-1/4". The models are not available separately.
