Prototype: Car set of so-called "Pop Cars". German Federal Railroad (DB), type Bcüm 243 express train slumber coach, bluish lilac / gray, type Büm 234 express train compartment car, 2nd class, blue/gray, and type Bcüm 243 express train slumber coach, reddish violet / gray.

Model: This is a 3-part car set, consisting of two slumber coaches and a compartment car. All of the cars have extensive, finely executed paint schemes and lettering. They also have close coupler hooks. Total length over the buffers approximately 365 mm / 14-3/8".

This car set can be added to the 81873 starter set or to the earlier sets, item numbers 87402 and 81435, etc.
