Type Gl Boxcar

Prototype: Type Gl 22 boxcar of the earlier Interchange Design type Gl “Dresden”. German Federal Railroad (DB). Short version, without a hand brake, brakeman’s platform, and brakeman’s cab. Versions without end doors. The car looks as it did around 1959.

Model: The car has a truss rod and additional running boards. The model has an inscription for the firm Maschinenfabrik Esslingen. This is the first model in the collector’s series. Length over the buffers 13.9 cm / 5-1⁄2".
